My New Favorite Song

So, my favorite song of the last few days is by an obscure, young female artist. It's kind of a pop ballad, good melody, good lyrics, good feel. Here are the lyrics—you win a prize if you can guess who it's by. I doubt you'll be able to though, she is pretty unknown. And yes, it does sound better on vinyl.

Tornado
Something new comes along and I don't know what to say, so I just say sure
I don't know what to do so I run away, it's all a blur
We might not like those changes in life, cuz sometimes they give us great strife
But you got to be tough when the going gets rough

Feels like a tornado came, and now I'm not the same
Feels like the mountains moved, I don't know what to do
Feels like a storm came by, and now I'm way up high
And I'm shouting out, I'm yelling down, but no one seems to hear a sound.

Any guesses? No? Google not helping either? Weird, google usually knows everything.

Actually, this is an original piece by my almost-eleven-year-old sister Jenna. She wrote it complete with a catchy tune and choreography. Yeah, I was blown away too—it reads and sounds like something by Kelly Clarkson! Amazing!

My family rocks.
